Elaine is an Associate Professor at the University of Stirling whose work examines how social, cultural, and economic circumstances shape health and ageing across the life course. She is particularly interested in how research can reflect people’s lived experiences, including through longitudinal studies of ageing, work on social connection and technology, and research into the lasting social, health, and economic effects of COVID-19.
